Browsers is happy to host Olympia visual artist Mary Kasimor.
Although I have been writing poetry for many years—over half my life, I have been painting for only slightly more than four years. I can only describe my sudden interest in art as compulsive. Over the four years, the process of making art has become interesting and magical. Like my poetry, I consider my visual art to be very experimental and abstract. Most of my work is done with watercolors, ink and thread on paper, but I have recently started working with acrylic paints. I paint mostly for myself, or I give my paintings away; however, I have sold my art, and I am interested in selling more.
