Stop in for a browse! We are back to requiring masks for all browsers.
How do I know if something is in stock?
“In stock now” means something is physically on our shelves and we can guarantee same or next day pick up.
“Special orders” are books we can order from distributors, ship times listed on the website are an estimate of when they will get to the store and don’t include the time it takes us to process the order or ship to customers.
“Special order -- may be slow to obtain” means our distributors are waiting for stock. We don’t recommend ordering these if you need them soon.
“No price, may not be available” these books are likely out of print, or out of stock at our distributors and we can’t get them.
When in doubt, leave a note!
Use the "instructions" field over the PO field, we can see the message easier.
Use this field for any communication with our orders team including: special shipping instructions, e-gift card requests, gift card numbers, notes to include to recipients, requests to use store credit, etc.
To use your gift card online, please enter the code on the card at checkout into the "notes" field. We will process your gift card balance before charging your card!
When purchasing a gift card please designate whether it is a pick up or mail out at checkout. We will ship the physical copy to the recipient, or it can be picked up in person. Please note we do not offer digital gift cards.
Online orders are processed every day. Orders placed before 12pm are available for same day pick up if everything is in stock.
When arriving to the store you are welcome to come in and shop around, or we will gladly pass your book out the door to you!
All shipping is Media Mail unless specified. You may request Priority Mail in the comments and we will charge your card $8.50 per package.
You will receive notice when the book ships out, tracking number included.
We offer Free Shipping Over $50. This automatically applies at checkout!
Please be mindful that we are a small business and free shipping comes at a cost. We kindly ask that you do not combine Pre-Orders with regular book orders, otherwise we will be paying the shipping cost on your order 2 or more times.

Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges of books purchased in store or on the website (if listed as "In Stock") within two weeks of purchase date. Books must be in new condition and there must be a receipt present.
It is worth noting that we always prefer an exchange over a return!
At this time, we cannot accept returns of books that were specially ordered for you. These are titles we would not normally carry in the store and require fees to return to the distributor. Thank you for understanding!
