Sing, Unburied, Sing is my first book finished in the New Year. I am completely in awe of the power of this novel. It’s a lyrical search for home and family and it’s both universal and specific to a time and place. A must-read. I can’t wait till it’s out in paperback so I can convince the book club at the store to read it.
A beautifully illustrated fairy tale on sisterhood, friendship and family. Any reader who loves fairy tales will be enamored!
A memoir-with-recipes, David Lebovitz's new book made me both hungry and thankful my kitchen renovation took place in Olympia.
A book for right now. I loved this timely account of the crazy, truly unbelievable Trump campaign. Tur has an incredibly likeable, intelligent tone.
Cory Taylor knew she was dying of brain cancer and wrote this slim, beautiful memoir in the space of a few weeks. She works out her feelings about her life and her parents and dying itself on the page and it's such a gift.
