Cancelled: Nonfiction Book Club

All book clubs have been cancelled for the month of March!

Join us for the March meeting of the Browsers Nonfiction Book Club

We will discuss The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating  by Elisabeth Tova Bailey. The discussion will be led by Maria Mudd RuthIf you have any questions, please email Andrea.

More about the book:
While an illness keeps her bedridden, Bailey watches a wild snail that has taken up residence on her nightstand. As a result, she discovers the solace and sense of wonder that this mysterious creature brings and comes to a greater understanding of her own place in the world. Intrigued by the snail’s molluscan anatomy, cryptic defenses, clear decision making, hydraulic locomotion, and courtship activities, Bailey becomes an astute and amused observer, offering a candid and engaging look into the curious life of this underappreciated small animal.

Our book discussions aim to bring people together to talk about books in a safe and inviting atmosphere. Our meetings are inclusive; we invite you to attend. You don't have to RSVP, just come and enjoy a lively discussion about the chosen book with other readers.

The books are available in store at 15% off if you plan to attend the book club.
