TRL Event: Shapes of Native Nonfiction with Dr. Theresa Warburton and Elissa Washuta

Browsers will be selling books at this Olympia TRL event.

Join co-editors Dr. Theresa Warburton and Elissa Washuta for a discussion of their book, Shapes of Native Nonfiction, "the first collection of Native nonfiction organized with the explicit intent of highlighting Native writing as world-making. This book offers us nonfiction that reflects, interrogates, critiques, imagines, prays, screams, and complicates simplistic notions about Native peoples and Native lives.” --Malea Powell.

This program is part of Timberland Reads Together, featuring There There by Tommy Orange and Native Voices, focused on Indigenous Peoples history and culture.
